1 ) Introduction

The Segnale is a fearsome character not to be dealt with lightly. The Segnale class is the more popular class for parties, being as they can one-hit their targets. Not saying that they can kill every pitborn they come in contact with in just one strike, but more so that they can easily one hit their allies. The Segnale class has the ability to heal their allies back either to the brink or tip of their health bars. With a heal specified to heal themselves, heal their allies, and also one to heal themselves and their allies in an AoE attack on decreasing health. A problem is that the heal may seem to slow at times, but not to worry, the Segnale class has the ability to revive the dead. At the high level of 42 a Segnale can not only crush their opponents with their blood whip, but also revive those around them, a helpful tool for any serious party. Many may think of the Segnale class as only a healer class, but once one takes on the role of a Segnale they realize it is so much more.

2 ) Leveling Guide

*One of the reasons that people have trouble training Bagis is because of the limited skills at lower level. However, it's quite easy to level a Bagi if you know how to do so.

-From level 1-11, train on the outskirts of Loa or Braiken castle. Training here should be a breeze.

-Once you've achieved level 11, enter the Maze of Newbies. This is a excellent solo dungeon that gives you both potions and experience at the same time.

-Once you've achieved level 19, you have two choices to train at: at denebe or inside norak/castor cave, 1st floor. Both are equally adequate, but keep in mind denebe is a non-pvp map, and norak/castor has pvp enabled, meaning anyone can player-kill you while your inside the cave.

-At level 25 (or sooner, however you prefer), head to Heiharp and see how you fare there. The best experience you can get is with a party, mainly because it takes less time and less work to kill a group of monsters with a party. It's up to you to train here until you've reached level 34, or you can try Requies, a jungle like map just north of denebe.

-Once you reach 34, head into the Requies dungeon. This is a solo dungeon that requires you to do several tasks to complete the entire dungeon. Upon completion, you earn an additional 50,000 experience points. You may not be able to complete this dungeon the couple first tries or even until your late 30's, but this dungeon is by far, the best experience you can get at this stage. Once you've reached the low 40's, this dungeon should be much easier. There's also an optional boss you can attempt to kill by getting the 3 relics hidden inside the Chamber of Space. Killing this boss rewards you with a very nice ring. I suggest you do this dungeon until 55, since it's still the best experience you can get.

-Once you've reached 55 (or 50), you can do one of three things: train inside of norak/castor cave by yourself or with a party, train inside Parca Shrine, or head out to crespo to train there. Parca Shrine isn't the best area for experience points, mainly just for commission points. At level 55, crespo may be a bit difficult, unless you find a party to do the commission quest and train as well.

-During your training from 55-60, you should save up on money. Upon reaching 60, you can now enter the Dungeon of Crespo, a party dungeon that has three section (Dungeon C, Dungeon B, Dungeon A) and costs 300k to enter. However, if you go with a party of 6, each party member only needs to pay 50k. This is a quite decent dungeon that gives you experience and different gems that you may find useful, such as medials, rhombuses, elemental damage gems, or elemental resistance gems. You can also continue training in crespo doing the commission quest (s) with a party or just soloing, however you enjoy it.

-Once you've reached 65, you can have three options to choose from: continue training in Dungeon C, head out to Draco Desert, or do Dungeon B, which is harder than Dungeon C, because of the higher level mobs. However, it does give more experience and better gem rewards. Draco desert is a different view from crespo, mainly because it's a desert, unlike the snow you constantly see in crespo. I wouldn't advise doing the 65 commission quest, because it's just a waste of money. I suggest doing dungeon B from 65+.

-Once you've reached 70 (Hurray!), continue training in Dungeon B or head out to Draco desert where it's a bit easier to solo train here while also doing the level 70 commission for money and adventure points.

-Upon reach the big 75 (halfway there), you can attempt doing Dungeon A, which is the hardest of the three sections, but also gives better experience and gems. However, if you find it a bit hard, continue doing dungeon B.

3 ) Stat Guide

You get exactly 5 points to allocate in any stat that you wish every time that you level. There is no stat cap as of the date that this guide was written either.

There are a few ways that you can go here. You should know by now that the weapons have stat requirements, and ours are Dex / Spr. You will now have a choice as to where you want the remaining points to go. I can not tell you "the best" way to go because there is a lot of room for flexibility in that area.

However, myself and a lot of players decide that with those remaining points that are left over (after we allocate the points we need into our weapon req.'s) should go to health.

The reasons for this are listed below.
#1 Having a high health stat will ensure that you don't get interrupted nearly as often.
#2 Health increases that green bar as well as your health bar, so in PVP (and PvE) it will help you survive MUCH longer.

4 ) Skill Guide

Curse-Based Attacks
These attacks listed below are Curse-Based, which means that their damage cannot be increased with any attributes (SPR, etc.) Their damage can only increased by:
- Curse mastery
- Curse rings (Cannot be increased by magic damage rings)
- Weapons that add curse-related damage
- Leveling up the skill itself
Wondering how I could tell whether these were curse based or not? If you dont believe me, try them on the Frikzhan Lord. (Physical-Resistant, Vulnerable to Curses.) All the physical skills of the Segnale did 200 damage or less, all the curse based listed below did 1000 damage and above.

Ruins Skull [Lv. 1]
- Your very first damage-attack. It is the weakest spell you have Maxed at level 5, it will only do about the same damage as Level 1 Backdraft. Do not bother wasting your skill points on this spell.
Cast time: Slow
Cooldown: Very fast
Interruptible: Yes!
Usefulness: Useless
Overall grade: F

Backdraft [Lv. 14]
- This spell can be rather powerful, deals approximately around 1000 damage at level 5 (Maxed). It cannot be interrupted while casting. Useful for use in combos. Has a short cooldown. Has a very long range (Useful for kiting). However, you will begin to use this spell less and less as you progress through the game You will find that the damage dealt is not often high enough. Use it for a quick knockback.
Cast time: Fast
Cooldown: Very Fast
Interruptible: No!
Usefulness: Useful! (May not deal a high enough damage)
Overall grade: B

Dread Nail [Lv. 35]
- A 3-hit curse-based attack. Its ability to slow down the enemy (Like Death Scythe) does not last long enough, which makes it unreliable. The good thing about this spell is that while you cast it, you cannot be made to flinch therefore it is uninterruptible. This spell is like Backdraft, the damage dealt is not too significant so you may not use this spell very often later on in the game.
Cast time: Very fast
Cooldown: Slow
Interruptible: No!
Usefulness: Since it is not Damage-Based, it is not good for PvP despite the fact it cannot be interrupted. Makes a good combo with Blood hit.
Overall grade: C+

Curse Field [Lv. 59]
- I guarantee that this will be your favorite spell for the entire game. Some may argue that Evil Crow is better, oh but trust me, when the calculations are done, AoE is better than a spell that only hits a single monster. According to the skill calculator, level 10 Curse Field deals around x4000 curse damage to every monster in the surrounding area. Curse field creates the biggest Area of Effect in the entire game, not to mention the fact that it lasts for 10 whole seconds after casting which means anything in that area will be hit once each second. It always has a 10 second cooldown, which means that when the field is gone, you can immediately cast it again! So do the math, x4000 curse damage multiplied by 10, one for each second the field is up. That means a guranteed 40 000 points of damage! If you have +% curse damage gems in your weapon and have curse mastery maxed, a significant 25% bonus may be applied! 25% of 40 000~ is an approximate 10 000, so you will have a guranteed minimum of a total damage of 50 000. This spell is also excellent for use against melee in PvP! Anything that tries to get near you while you have this field around you is dead! Could someone say, wow?
Cast time: Fast
Cooldown: Can be cast immediately after field is gone!
Interruptible: Who cares!
Usefulness: Hell yes?
Overall grade: A+

Physical-Based Attacks
These attacks listed below deal physical damage. The damage you inflict is determined by your attributes, and many other manipulative factors. (Either STR or DEX, DEX in this case). The damage you inflict with your normal attack and all the rest of the attacks listed below can be determined by ONLY these factors:
- Your enemies defense
- Your weapon
- Rings
- Buffs
- Your attributes

Death Scythe [Lv. 8]
- Death scythe possibly has some potential but overall it does not work. It may be a bit stronger than Backdraft when maxed, however it is easily interrupted and the cast time is horribly slow, giving the enemy a perfect chance to stun-lock you. The duration of it's movement reduction speed remains at one second, therefore this skill is not worth it.
Cast time: Very slow
Cooldown: Slow
Interruptible: Yes
Usefulness: Better than normal attack, worse than any other spell. It's in between.
Overall Grade: D-

Vampire [Lv. 30]
- A good spell, it deals a considerable amount of damage and will regenerate your HP for a short amount of time. Useful if you do not want to waste your potions. The drawbacks: It is only a one hit spell, even then it is not strong enough. (Other one hit attacks such as Silent Killerredeem themselves through such high damage) This skill goes well in a combination with Backdraft and Blood Hit. The good thing about Vampire is that it cannot be interrupted while casting.
Cast time: Average
Cooldown: 4 seconds (Average)
Interruptible: No
Usefulness: Not recommended for PvP's but useful for solo because it regenerates your hitpoints.
Overall Grade: B

Blood Spear [Lv. 47]
- I personally hate this skill. Why? It is a complete joke. As your only one of two AoE spells, it is perhaps the MOST useless AoE attack ever created. As a level 47 spell, you would expect it to be stronger than your other spells as this one is new, and much stronger. You are mistaken. It is possibly the third worst/useless spell of the Segnale. I do not know why they created this. It's area of effect stab and explosion range is not accurate and is not guaranteed to hit every single monster. In fact, it may only hit 1/8 of a group of monsters that you are attacking. You will become frustrated using this spell ALONE in AoE parties, it will not work. Do not bother. You will find this skill to be a dissapointment. The requirement should be made for level 17, not level 47!
